Hello! I am approaching 50 years of age, and I had a dream when I was 17 that was so vivid that I still remember every detail to this day. The first scene is a desert scene, with a forest in the background.
At first the scene is empty, but as I am turning clockwise, I see desert bushes, the forest goes out of sight, and then children who are hunting eggs come into view, like an Easter egg hunt. I continue looking around, going clockwise, until a see a throne with a plump queen-like woman dressed in lace, with two other slender women attending to her, and other beings were at her feet. I stop turning, looking right at her, and she points to the left of me, and says "Go; follow the wolf." I turn to my left and there is a wolf standing on two legs in overalls. He bows low, and turns around, and starts walking toward the forest. All the children who were gathering eggs ran ahead, and most entered the forest ahead of us.
Second scene is I'm walking by the wolf. He picks up a pebble and holds it up, examining it closely. I see it in his hand, and it morphs into a crescent moon. We come to a clearing. It is night time now, and less than a mile to the left of me is what appears to be cemetery on top of a hill, and most of the children are going in that direction. The wolf hands me a very large egg. I see other children burying their eggs, so I figure I am to do the same. I go a little to the right instead, where there were some children scattered about. The ground is very sandy, and very easy to dig a hole. I bury the egg, and suddenly a head pops up, a bald unshaven male, with eyes that showed no emotion, just stared straight ahead. I hear screams, and hear something about werewolves. I run back into the forest, I hear the wolf yell, "Wait!" but I keep on going. I come to a wire fence, quickly climbed it and jumped to the other side.
I land in thorns, but I quickly turn toward the fence. I don't see anything, but I hear children screaming. I walk away from the fence, and come to a building that looks to be a school - it reminded me of my first elementary school (my mother married an Army sergeant when I was nine years old, so after that we moved a lot, and went to many different schools) It is one of the schools that are very narrow buildings, basically one hallway in the middle with classes on both sides. I look into the windows, run among the wings of the institution, but see no way in. I come to a triangular garden with no grass between the larger plants, but many small white pebbles, and I see a middle-aged woman on her knees attending to some plants. I was crying by that time, and she looks at me, I did my best to tell her of the children and the werewolves. She stands up, and says "Follow me." She turns and walks to a door. I follow. And then wake up. If it makes a difference, I am male, and it is close to the time I started considering becoming a more active Christian than I had been when I was a child. This happened in 1976. Thank you very much. - Michael
Dream Interpretation:
We must admit that your dream here is very colorful. Reading it from the beginning makes us think that it is something spiritual. We are glad that you said at the end of the letter that you are a Christian.
This dream talk about the important role that you would have to play in your life. It is a ministry that you are called to do so. The desert and the forest you saw in your dream were representation of your life as a Christian and your life in the ministry as well. You will both experience loneliness and happiness at the same time in doing this responsibility to which you are called. The woman you saw was the representation of God himself. He was shown as a woman to let you know about a mother’s love which is very much caring, passive and filled with concerned. Maybe she was imparting to you the traits that you should have as a minister. To see an mid-aged woman in the garden on the last part of your dream tells you that you will have consciousness about this calling to minister seriously at a much older age.
To see the school in that dream tells you that knowledge is not enough. This responsibility also requires intense prayer. That is what the garden represents. The children you see were those people with whom you have to deal with in this service. The people God is entrusting under your care. They are shown there as children because they are being presented as people with whom you would really deal with patience and endurance. People who do not know what to do and needs a leader to direct them all the time. The wolf of course symbolizes the bad element in the ministry. Those who would try to discourage those people under your care. The werewolves represent the discouragements you will get from false brethren. There will come a time (or maybe there has been a time already) where in you will be attracted to do this service because you think that it promises of beauty alone. But you will realize that part of it is like walking in a wilderness. You would think of giving up but no matter what you do or where you go, you will always find your way back. It’s because it was your path. The path God chose for you.
The Easter eggs symbolize the resurrection of Christ. This is the resurrection you had been living through when you accepted this ministry but seeing the people under your care burying the symbol of Christ’s resurrection, you also were discouraged. So you buried your own egg. The male that popped up when you bury the egg represents yourself. Bald meaning you gave up your glory, and has no emotion or reaction, meaning you will suddenly lost your enthusiasm in the ministry. The very large egg that the wolf gave you represents the burden you will be experiencing in life. All in all, the dream tell you that you will never ever find real happiness if you will not completely embrace the calling God has for you so stand firm in your faith.

Thank you very much. I shall meditate on your insights.
I don't think the first woman was God though. After all, she did tell me to follow the wolf, and I agree, he represented the bad things about a ministry. I am more inclined to think she represented the bad things of the mainstream religion mentality that has been so prevalent for so long, following whatever wolf of their choice.
Qaeyious (aka Michael)
It might be true also that she represented the bad things of the mainsttream religion. Good idea. I wish you all the best in your life. Thank you for participating here. We appreciate it very much.
